Thank God He arose, I never tire of saying that. I love this time of the year. In Isaiah 2-4 he and Mica shared a vision of His ultimate return to earth. He very clearly explains that all nations on the earth will focus on Israel as that is where Jesus will establish His reign. I love to read about peace that He brings and where we beat our swords and spears into farm implements as we will not study war no more as the song says. Isaiah was talking to Israel but he is surely speaking to us as well. Look at verse 5 and following: O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of the Lord. For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled with eastern ways; they are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they are pleased with the children of foreigners. Their land is full of silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures; their land is also full of horses, and there is no end to their chariots. Their land is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made. People bow down, and each man humbles himself; (for the wrong reasons) therefore do not forgive them.
I encourage you in this season to read these four chapters with the second coming in mind.

Dr. Ido Friedman and his wife will join us to share from personal experience the sacred sites within the Holy Land with a PowerPoint presentation. They are bringing authentic Hebrew coffee and a dessert from Israel to complete the experience.
