Tomorrow

Please join me this morning as I worship!  I got an email from my granddaughter this morning that revival had broken out in her little church in Guyton GA.  Liberty Christian Fellowship has a guest speaker for a few days and my granddaughter is on the worship team.  As we fast and pray tomorrow let’s focus on revival, to let it consume Effingham County and the surrounding area.  Her note left me singing worship songs from the past; Come and worship royal priesthood, come and praise Him, Holy nation, worship Jesus, our Redeemer,  He is Sovereign, King of Glory.; We worship and adore Thee, bowing down before Thee, songs of praises singing, hallelujahs ringing, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, Amen.; Come bless the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, who stand by night, in the house of the Lord.  Lift up your hands in the Holy Place and bless the Lord, and bless the Lord.; We love You Lord, and we lift our voice to worship You, oh my soul rejoice, take joy my King In what You hear, may it be a sweet sweet sound in your ear.  Well, I feel better.  How about you?  Is your church experiencing the move of The Holy Spirit?  Maybe many of you do not know the tune which would help us get into worship together, but my point is that we don’t worship Him enough.  Do you know that God’s throne is surrounded by worship?  And we are supposed to be practicing now to join the heavenly choir.  Let’s join in and give Him all praise and glory and expect a fresh outpouring of His Spirit which we can call revival.

Smith Wigglesworth’s devotional today comes from Acts 5 and he ends with this admonition. “The power of God is just the same today as it was in the past.  People need to be taken back to the old paths, to the old-time faith, to believing God’s word and every ‘Thus says the Lord’ in it.”

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.  Jim
