Tomorrow

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first also for the Greek.  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith.”  Romans 1:16-17.

I read this in my morning devotional and was reminded that Jesus is eternal.  He has the power to impart eternal gifts.  He has delivered us from the curse of the law and set us free. Do those of us who have been saved love the Gospel?  Who would love it more?  Through His life in us, we are delivered from all things and are being prepared for the glorious hope of the coming of the Lord.  I wear a badge every day that says, He Is Coming!, people read it and sometimes they want to talk about it but most days it provokes something if only a sneer.  We have been attending a small Baptist church in our neighborhood and the preacher is taking us through Revelation to teach us about heaven.  Revelation 19:10 says, “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy”.  I know that we all don’t claim to be prophets but I believe that we can all tell people what the Word of God says and that is the spirit of prophecy.  And how can they believe if no one tells them the good news?  Something to think about as you pray and fast tomorrow!

Bless you!
