Good morning, I hope everyone remembered to fast and pray today without the reminder ast night. I am very sorry but I was under attack yesterday, from the moment I arrived at my study until I got my feet up at 6:30 I did not have a minute for me. By that time I was fighting sleep and in fact, gave in toa nap before dinner. My friend Michael Martin called me in mid-afternoon to find out what I had done for Jesus today. I rattled off a few things that had happened but by then I was already used up. Ever felt like that? Holy Spirit reminded me, “But God”. Hallelujah! I was also reminded of scripture I used this weekend, the prophesy given by Elizabeth when she was filled with the Holy Spirit at Mary’s arrival, carrying Jesus. “But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” Indeed, who am I that this unbelievable gift be granted tome, and how can I let the things of the world get me down? This Christmas season does come with its challenges, especially for those who still have children at home, God bless you! As we focus on the reason for the season as they say let us look forward with the same determination of the Wise Men to the celebration of the birth of our Savior.
Tradition forces me not to participate in a fast next week as we have too much food and goodies around over the holiday and I will participate. So let me wish you all a very Blessed and Merry Christmas along with a new year filled with the goodness of God. Please continue to pray for our county and our president.
