Still fasting and praying

Good morning prophets!  Don’t consider yourself a prophet?  Well, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14,” Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.”  Then are we to believe that God said prophecy is more important than other gifts.  Think about why!  Wigglesworth said it is by the power of the Spirit and is the only power by which humanity is saved.  Huh?  2nd Corinthians says that salvation comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.  Humanity hears from your testimony, which is prophecy.  A song says, what the world needs now is love sweet love and we do need a double dose of that right now but the word says that more important than that is the testimony to the world that you have been saved by the unmerited love of God.  People want to be saved and will be interested in finding how one such as you could be saved and that there may be hope for them.  People have questions for you, the answer is, “ by Grace I have been saved.”  Testify wherever you are, scripture tells us to be ready in season and out.

I read today that the spirit of prophecy is the testimony that you are saved by the blood of the Lamb.  Praise God!

Prophecy is to be desired above all things, and every Christian has to have it, every believer has testimonial prophecy.

As we fast and pray tomorrow please consider the importance of asking for the gift of prophecy.

LIFE meets tonight at 7:00, please join us if you can.  Peggy and I have talked a lot about this information today and she is loaded for bear. Let’s explore the scripture together tonight and see what God has to say.

Bless you, Jim
