Happy New Year.
2020 AD.. AD is Latin for Anno Domini…Year of our Lord. I preached a sermon on this Sunday morning and challenged everyone to truly make this year, the Year of Our Lord. Think about miracles in your life and I am sure there are some for all of us. Practice telling about it and tell everyone what God has done for you. This is testifying and opening the door for Jesus to come and make a difference in those we tell. Ronald Regan quoted Hillel the Elder who first said this in Jerusalem sometime around when Christ was born, “ If not you, who and if not now when?” I love that and it seems to me that someone has to start the ball rolling before hatred and animus take over completely and we tear one another apart. What the world needs now is love sweet love..1 John 4: 7-8.
I think tomorrow I will partake of the greens and hopin john with family to start the new year, besides we still have coconut cake left over. But I do want to thank you for being a part of our prayer and fasting group, many of you since 2013 and wish everyone a Happy and Blessed New Year.
