One morning last week in my prayer time I was impressed with the following reminder:
A group of us are praying every Saturday at 6:00 PM, we are praying in the Spirit of Acts 2 that we come into one accord and God will unleash His power once again in a mighty revival that many may be saved.
It occurred to me that God is preparing His army to be ready for the outpouring so that we will be the guides that will be needed to help people see the Glory, that we will be equipped to tell them the truth.
I was instructed to begin to tell people that I am a recruiter, a recruiter for the Army of God. I think He is looking for more soldiers to prepare for this coming outpouring, and we are called to recruit them as prayer warriors in preparation.
I learned about a worldwide group called OneCry, who seem to be doing the same thing. I am going to investigate them further but they seem to be praying for the same thing we are. As I pondered this word an old song from the 70’s revival came back to me and it will become my rallying cry.
As we pray and fast tomorrow, please think about this and let me know your thoughts. God bless everyone and please cover Peggy and me this week as we leave Thursday for one our bucket list trips…the train ride across Canada, praise God.
