Happy St. Patrick’s day. In Savannah that is a somber salutation this year. LIFE meeting tonight will be conducted via conference call as we are a little concerned about Peggy with her autoimmune disease. It is amazing to me how our great country has been brought to its knees by the coronavirus. My granddaughter has a huge wedding planned for the 28th and I am supposed to officiate. We are discussing what we can do as we expect the Westin to shut down any day. And this is just the tip, people are out of work as business close down to accommodate the attack. And make no mistake about it, that is what it is, an attack from Satan. I have heard at least 5 different pastors teaching from Psalm 91 for encouragement in these times. I prefer to use Psalm 27. “The Lord is my light and my salvation; who shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident.”
Be prudent, but fear not. Someone has said that fear not in some form is found 365 times in the Bible. I have not counted but I take solace that God meant us to have that word every day of the year because the attacks will come.
